How DVANY approaches music rights and why availability can vary.

A recorded song can involve separate rights in the sound recording (master) and in the underlying composition and lyrics, together with public performance, communication, synchronization or other rights depending on the feature and use.
The permissions needed for private listening, interactive features, public broadcasts, creator shows, podcasts, clips and user uploads can differ. Territory, catalog, platform, duration and business model can also affect availability.
DVANY will make music available only where the service has the rights, permissions, licenses or other lawful basis necessary for the relevant use. A track being available elsewhere does not mean DVANY has the same rights.
Users are responsible for obtaining the rights required for material they upload or transmit. Rights-holder complaints may result in restrictions or removal.
DVANY should name specific collecting societies, labels, publishers or licensing partners only after a current agreement has been verified. This page therefore does not claim that a particular license has been obtained.
